"Happy Faces!"
The last 3 weeks have been pretty busy as well as very good fishing! Getting up in the early morning
around 4am, getting bait for the day, fishing your heart out and then home to clean fish can be pretty tiring! Oh,
after the party leaves the boat must be cleaned, rods and reels cleaned or restrung with new line, not to mention
checking the emails, then off to bed just to see your self repeat the same steps the very next day!
As a guide, I know other guides will agree that we often wish we were the
customer! Having your guide put you on the fish is most important but even when he fails the work afterwards never
changes. The frustration of having to go through all of that work and not have a great day of catching is…..well,
everyone understands what I mean!
I have been blessed the last 3 weeks with great catches of Trout on nearly
every trip. I love to see those happy faces and that is what makes this job so rewarding. The times you take the
beginners and you see their faces light up after catching a quality Red or Trout, well it makes my day! Something I
have noticed also is how the ladies seem to be a bit luckier than the men! Of course ladies, I am always on your side!
I would much rather have beginners luck or lady luck on my side any day!

I have witnessed many memories that will never be forgotten by my clients or by me! Seeing their first fish or their
first big fish caught is something to remember and a joy to share! It really makes my day to have successfully put my
clients on fish where they could catch their limits or be there when they catch their record fish.
My next report will be about a trip I had who is writing a story about our
fishing adventure last week. She is employed by Country World News! She is a photographer and writer and wanted to do
an article and selected me to fill that slot! I feel quite honored and what a trip we had!
I hope each of you will soon have a great day of fishing! I hope you will also
have lasting memories and smiles from your experiences while on the water!
